Project Description

Project to produce Highland Butterfly Guide & run butterfly survey focusing on 1 or 2 common species.

Timeline:

Apr 08: Peacock Butterfly Postcard & Highland Butterfly Guide printed & distributed widely.  Guides laminated in E Ross for field walks.  1,450 peacock butterfly records received from Highland, complete coverage. 

Apr 09: Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly Postcard & Guide distributed widely.  220 peacock butterfly records received from Highland. 

Jun 09: Highland butterfly Guide printed & distributed widely.  Project complete.
