Scottish Natural Heritage produces a table annually summarising the main funding options available to natural heritage projects, which can be downloaded by the following link:
Landfill Communities Fund
Highland Council has allocated its Landfill Communities Fund money towards biodiversity and related projects. The Fund looks to support practical, site-based habitat projects, and further information is available from the following leaflet:
Cairngorms Biodiversity Grant Scheme
The Cairngorms Biodiversity Steering Group runs a grant scheme for biodiversity project proposals within the former Cairngorms Partnership area. Further information is available from Stephen Corcoran stephencorcoran@cairngorms.co.uk or Justin Prigmore justinprigmore@cairngorms.co.uk.
Communities Biodiversity Fund
A new communities biodiversity fund was announced at the Scottish Biodiversity Forum Conference in August 2010 to help community groups on-the-ground action to benefit local wildlife. Further information will be available here & on the SNH website shortly, the press release can be viewed at:
